Mangala gowri vrata or pooja is performed By newly married women for the first five years and fifth year pooja is concluded by udhyapana.Mangala gowri pooja is dedicated to gowri devi who is known as parvathi devi. Mangala gowri devi pooja is performed on shravana tuesdays.
